A Poem By Nosipho Mbhamali
It honours me to see poetry grow from being educational to being a way of crying out of releasing the anger and pain. I now understand why they say females are emotional, my early readers are quite awesome,do read.
Aye! Love.....
One day you think you sailing in the sea of perfect love,
The next you feel you drowning in the depth of dead love.
Like a sailor,
Navigating conservatively,
We sail, each moment to trust love one more time, dismissing each deplorable and lamentable souvenir of the Titanic.
We trust love over and over again,
It's inevitable.
We break down into fine
Pieces but we still find peace to love by leaps and bounds because, love covers all multitudes of defects.
Love is with no blemish, no wrinkle and no spot.
It looks beyond the flaws to see perfect from fallible imperfections.
Love is virtuous, pure and absolute.
Aye! Love.....
You meet her, you like her,
You get along and suddenly love prevails,
Like die hards, you predominate your domain; your love den.
You walk through walls, trample on scorpions, inhibit all the encounters trying to break you until you fall prey to deucedly heartbreak.
How long should you commit to love if each one more time you trust love all over again, you break, you fall, flinch, squall or crock up.
How long should I have faith in love?
But I heard,
That love is kind,
Love is patient,
Love loves,
Love invokes a sensation of what love is; eminent, it never goes dim.
Oneday, I fell in love,
Cloud nine was my place of abode,
Unending ecstasy could be redrawn all over my face.
Love had met with me!
Aye! Love.......
Once again, all over again, I fell off the ladder,
like a snake and ladder game...........
I fell in love and broke my arm;
But Maya,
Maya Angelou still says,
Have enough courage to trust love one more time!
Aye! Love....
